Angular cheilitis

The angles of the lips become reddened and sore in this skin problem.  Commonly seen in denture wearers it can affect others as well.  Lip lickers can also produce a similar picture.

Treatment

1. To check whether the dentures are ill fitting
2. Antifungal lotions or creams may be used
3. cleaning dentures after every meal helps
