Clear cell acanthoma ( Degos acanthoma)

 

It is a slow growing reddish plaque commonly seen on the thighs and legs.  It is a benign (harmless) epidermal tumour.  A skin biopsy can confirm the diagnosis.

 

Treatment

 

Removal by a skin biopsy is the answer.
