KNUCKLE PADS Knuckle pads are pads of skin over the finger joints. It is not that common over the knuckles! Firm skin colored papules appear over the finger joints on the back.
Sometimes it runs in families. Cosmetically it may cause worries for patients though rarely it may
cause a bit of soreness. Repetitive trauma can result in knuckle pads seen in boxers and surfers. Sometimes it can be associated with deafness, white nails. No investigations is useful in diagnosis. Treatment Various treatments may be tried however
