LICHEN
NITIDUS Lichen
nitidus refers to a type of eczema which starts commonly in children or
adolescents. It is seen as small
skin colored raised papules 2-3 mm in diameter.
Certain parts of the body are more affected like trunk, arms, and
genitals. Sometimes it can be seen
in palms, soles or inside the mouth. Treatment It
usually settles on its own while topical steroids helps to hasten resolution. Some
doctors believe Lichen nitidus is related to Lichen
planus.
